Honor 90 series global edition to launch on July 6 in Paris

Honor will unveil the global version of its recently released Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro smartphones. The two models were announced in China last month and now their global launch has also been scheduled. The Honor 90 series global launch will hold on July 6 in Paris, France.

The Honor 90 series, having been launched already in China have little detail still under wraps. One of the details that will be released with the launch is the RAM/ storage configuration options for the global models. The prices of these combinations are also part of the unknown details as well.

The Honor 90 series global version will retain the same design and specs as the Chinese version. The smartphones will also come with a different software architecture Honor’s software for the local models. The two smartphones, the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro retain similar outlooks but with differences in their rear camera island. The Honor 90 has a circular camera island while the Pro has a hexagonal rear camera island.

The Honor 90 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and it has a 200MP main camera. The camera setup of the Honor 90 also includes a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth-of-field unit. Its 5,000mAh battery supports 66W wired charging and its 6.7-inch OLED screen also supports 120Hz refresh rate. The HONOR 90 will have a very high PWM Dimming technology as well.

The Honor 90 Pro has a 6.78-inch 2800 x 1224 pixels OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a very high PWM Dimming technology and the Snapdragon 9+ Gen 1 chipset. The main camera of the Honor 90 Pro is a 200MP sensor that combines with a 12MP ultrawide and 32MP telephoto unit. The top model features a 5,000mAh battery and supports 100W wired charging. The HONOR 90 Pro will run on Android 13 atop Honor’s MagicOS skin.

The global launch of the Honor 90 series kicks off at 3 PM CET on July at the Pavilion Gabriel, Paris, France. More optics about the event and the upcoming Honor 90 Global version will be released subsequently.
